Eoin Lyons graduated from Santa Clara University in 2019 with degrees in finance and political science. Eoin currently works in San Francisco as a Forensics Associate with KPMG, tasked with investigating domestic and international financial fraud. He also serves on the Board of Directors for Santa Clara's Alumni Association and the Advisory Board for San Francisco Youth Gaelic Athletic Association. 

Joanne Sandstrom - ΦBKNCA: Second Vice President, Scholarship, 2006 – present. A.A., Glendale Junior College, 1957; B.A. in English and teaching credential, UC Berkeley, 1959 and 1960, respectively; M.A. in English, Cal State Long Beach, 1968. Taught English at Costa Mesa High School, Saddleback College and Long Beach City College, 1969-1975.   In charge of the publications program for the Institute of East Asian Studies, UC Berkeley, September 1980-2009   Retired and doing freelance editing. Joanne Resides in Oakland.

Elizabeth “Libby” Tyler, Ph.D., lives in Albany, California with her husband Rob Olshansky.  Libby was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa at the University of Colorado, Boulder in 1979, where she majored in Environmental Conservation.  Libby also earned a Master’s in Landscape Architecture (Environmental Planning) from the University of California, Berkeley and a Ph.D. in Regional Planning from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.   Libby is the Community Development Director for the City of San Pablo and has worked for many years as a city planner and lecturer in planning.  She previously served as the Initiation Chair for the University of Illinois Chapter.  Libby and Rob have two sons, one of whom was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa as a Junior at Haverford College. Her passions are reading, watching classic films, and travelling.

Since 1956, the Phi Beta Kappa Visiting Scholar Program has been offering undergraduates the opportunity to spend time with some of America's most distinguished scholars. The purpose of the program is to contribute to the intellectual life of the campus by making possible an exchange of ideas between the Visiting Scholars and the resident faculty and students.
