The Judith & William Hardardt Scholarship in the Liberal Arts is awarded annually to support a graduate student in the Liberal Arts in either History or English. Established by Judith Hardardt to honor her husband Bill without whose encouragement and support she would never have succeeded in her three professional lives--Nursing, Education and Clinical Pharmacology. The doors opened because the breadth of knowledge coming from having a Liberal Arts degree along with the Phi Beta Kappa key are innumerable to those pursuing and achieving the goal of graduate studies in the Liberal Arts. The Hardardt Scholarship’s sole purpose is to support a student with those objectives.
